Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, and strengthen our bond with the Church.

- The ordinary minister of Confirmation is the bishop, signifying the link between the confirmed and the Church in her apostolic dimension.
- The essential rite is the anointing with Sacred Chrism on the forehead, which is done by the laying on of the hand and the words: "Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit."
- Confirmation, like Baptism, imprints an indelible spiritual character on the soul and can be received only once.
- To receive Confirmation efficaciously the candidate must be in the state of grace.

Schedule
Confirmation preparation begins in September. The sacrament is conferred annually by the Bishop.
